Our elegant self catering holiday accommodation, at Les Hiboux, consists of an 18th Century Poitou Charentes Farmhouse and French cottages and gite, situated in a small hamlet with outstanding views, 5 km from the market town of Chef Boutonne, in the unspoilt Deux Sevres region of France. The family friendly gites are stylishly decorated and combine old architecture with all mod cons. They share a swimming pool, boules pitches, a trampoline, and 3 acres of enclosed garden and are equipped with everything you need for a really memorable family holiday in France.

Les Hiboux holiday gites are owned by a family who know the importance of providing a French family holiday environment that maximise the enjoyment for both parents and children. We have created our own adventure playground to ensure that everyone is relaxed, happy and contented. Outside school holidays the rental gites and cottages and the extensive grounds become a haven of peace and tranquility.
A French gite holiday at Les Hiboux in the the Poitou Charentes will keep you and your family entertained with our football pitch, swings, slide and children’s cabin, sunken trampoline, safely fenced carp pond and a swimming pool. Two French boule pitches allow children to use one, while Mums and Dads use the other. Bicycles for all ages and a games room with pool, table football and darts are all available, while another large barn houses the table tennis table. There is also a wide range of DVDs, toys, books and board games.
You only need to browse the Poitou Charentes region’s website to see that there is an enormous amount of interest in the area, but some groups have spent the entire happy holiday within the grounds.
